I have had my iPhone jailbroke for several months. It was the last day of my warranty and like an idi0t I pressed reset on settings and since then, every time I turn on my phone I get the apple icon, and then I get the skull and it’s just stuck. I tried recovery mode and installed iphone software, during this is kept switching from the apple to skull logo and update completed, but it’s still stuck on the skull logo.

Any suggestions would be a great help .

    Try connecting it to your pc/laptop open iTunes and press and hold the lock and home buttons together until the USB and iTunes logo appears on the iPhones screen, from there itunes will recognise the phone is in recovery mode and will force an update, providing u have a newer firmware downloaded, just follow the instructions for updating your phone and all will be well, I hate the same problem and this fixed it, good luck

    i’ve been through that whole step. apple, skull, turn off turn off turn on. then itunes arrow. and now it’s restoring, but the skull is still on there frozen while its updating… is it suppose to do that?
